Brief Company History

Dolphin Software was established in 1989 by Norsk Data. Originally the company manufactured Unix servers. In 1993 the company was bought by Telenor and today’s contact center product range were initiated. In 1998 the company was part of the merger that resulted in EDB Business Partner (EDB ErgoGroup today), listed on Oslo Stock Exchange. In 2003 a management buyout was done together with two external investors. Today the company is owned by Verdane Capital and Via Venture Partners with 48% each and the management with 4% of the shares.

IVR

HotVoice® – an open, scaleable and standards based IVR platform for computer telephony applications. Key features are: a Windows based tool for rapid application development, IVR, fax and advanced call control features, IP telephony, speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities, database connectivity, web, e-mail and SMS communication. The platform also contains an embedded VoiceXML browser. HotVoice® has a complete set of operation and maintenance tools for continuous 24/7 operations.

Contact Center

Dolphin CDS™ (Contact Distribution System) – a multi channel contact centre solution handling telephony, email, fax, SMS and chat. Dolphin CDS™ key features include universal queue, skills based routing, callback, voice recording, home agents, integration with CRM systems, an SQL database for logging and reporting, a predictive dialer for outbound telephony and integration with workforce management systems.

Dolphin CDS™ is integrated with communication platforms from leading vendors like Aastra, Alcatel, Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft. We also offer our own IP-telephony soft phone client using SIP.

Dolphin Q™ - a software based contact centre for Microsoft Lync users. Key features include queing of telephony calls, skill based routing, IVR, pop-up of customer record in CRM system, callback, wall boards, real time and historic reports.

Directions to Dolphin

General information

You can pay with a credit card in all taxis and airport trains.

From Gardermoen Airport (OSL)

There are three alternatives:

  • Airport train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) (19 minutes).
    Then take a taxi to Skullerud (15 minutes).
    See below "From the centre of Oslo" for other alternatives.
  • Airport bus no. F4 to Ryen (40 minutes).
    Take taxi (5 minutes) or bus no. 70 (11 minutes) from Ryen to Skullerud.
  • Taxi (40 minutes).
    This is a bit expensive (About 100€).

From the centre of Oslo

There are three alternatives:

  • Taxi (15 minutes).
  • Subway (T-bane)  no. 3 to Skullerud station (24 minutes).
  • Bus no. 70 to Skullerud station (27 minutes).
    The Bus leaves from the Byporten shopping centre next to the Oslo Central Station.
